With his background as a professional actor, Nigel Hughes’ love affair with the Arts has been a lifelong partner to his environmental concerns.
It has taken him from touring eco-dramas by dugout canoe in Papua New Guinea, to directing his husband Ric Edelman’s plays on the London Fringe. From imbuing environmental and educational projects with storytelling and song, to luring companies to workshop in West End theatres – when Leadership Director of Maynard Leigh Associates.
Always the principle is the same: that the Arts can unlock and release creative potential and personal leadership qualities; improve individual and team performance in presentation and communication; and bring dynamism and sparkle to teamwork, product and commerciality.
Outstanding.Global continues this tradition of utilising the Arts. Our diverse team offers a wealth of backgrounds in writing, theatre, film and philosophy – to enrich your company, your team and yourself.
With the feature film CHEETAH we once again unite business, culture, environment and the Arts. With Ric as screenwriter and Nigel as Executive Producer, we have forged an exciting partnership with Bedlam Film Productions LLP and its Oscar-winning Producer, Gareth Ellis-Unwin.
We are taken on a breath-taking ride through an alien landscape and into the heart of a proud traditional culture as we sense that the cheetah is a conduit for us to resolve in ourselves the battle for truth, understanding and harmony.
CHEETAH brings the global spotlight to the little known Asiatic Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus venaticus), its last home the deserts of Iran. Inspired by true events it tells the story of how ‘Persia’s natural Jewel’ is fighting for its survival. Seen through the eyes of a poacher and his family this fight highlights the conflict between Nature and Human Nature and offers a glimmer of hope with the finding of a pair of glorious cheetah cubs.
